Hi read this book in 2 days. I liked it very much because it was about a girl named opal or her real name India, finds a dog who likes to meet people. And the dog is named Winn Dixie. Well Winn Dixie meet people. At the end he gets lost but really he is just scared under neath a bed and found. That is why I like this book. My favorite character is Winn Dixie because he was nice and funny dog.

Later in the story Winn Dixie goes missing. But really he is hiding under his friends bed. But before they find him Opal and her dad look for him. So when they back Winn Dixie's friend tells Opal and her father that Winn Dixie is slepping under her chair. My favorite character is Winn Dixie because he liked to meet new people and becoming there friends. Plus when he sees them he smiles at them and wag his tail. One more thing about Winn Dixie is he likes to eat pb. I think this book is about a dog how meet new people and makes friends with them. Plus he gets a family.
When did Opal ever see her mother again? I am on chapter six!! Ally J. what chapter are you on right now? it is just soooooooooo interesting to see how other people have other points of view from this very exacat story it is like i can not see you guys but i can hear I can`t wait till i see you guys all next year!!!!!! keep typing all of you:0!!!! Winn Dixie got his name from a grocry store that is just nuts! P.s. i would never name my pet after a grocry store would you, i would never scream at a dog in a grocry store i would take the dog outside! My mom would be the one to scream soooooooooooo loud it would bust my eardrum!!!:(

Ok-I'd go to my brothers party to where he's turning 6 but A girl i never knew and affically not yet seen my father... i wouldn't go to the party. well i would if i could bring my cats.
Finishd the book, i love it! The end is a little sad.... But it was amazing! The party at the end is sad for me. winn-dixie got lost at the end:[I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!]

Whitney P. I can't tell you when or if the mother comes back, but I can tell you I finished the book. :) It is so good.
